Box.
Niche.
Specialty.
Pigeonhole.
Whatever the heck you want to call it – we all should fit in one, right?
Well, occasionally there’s a spunky little ray of sunshine that shoots through the internet glass into the different hues. But were suppose to pick one. That’s how we bump our SEO, that’s how we generate traffic, that’s how we advertise, that’s how “it’s suppose to go”. Well thats great and all. However sometimes, you can’t just pick one color. You can’t just fit it all in one box.
We have scribbled pages and pages of notes. Pinterest and googled our way till our fingers bled – (Almost), and spent hours upon hours researching, building, creating, and stumbling our way into the blogging world. Creating our little space.
Ashley and I have envisioned so many different things we could try. Hours. Dollars. Days. Weeks. All have been spent on things that never even made it past the test kitchen. (Can we just say the the Snickerdoodle Pie will one day exist here?) and the same has been spent on things that made it ON the blog.We have learned so much, and in what we hoped was a way of narrowing down our “Niche” we only found we wanted something more.
EVERYTHING.
We were raised to chase our dreams. To be inspired and see where it leads. To take it and run with it. Well, that leads us here. Ashley has launched a whole Health Bar with some awesome people HERE. Go test it out it’s amazzzzinnng. Along with this, photography was always a lurking around as an idea in the back of all this bloggy madness. From the very beginning of “figuring it all out”. With the blog we have both learned so much about the photography world and it’s something we have decided to dive into.
Today we will be adding a photography section to Romancing The Onion. We will combine this with our recipes and continue exploring our never ending love of food, but we will be adding more to our posts. Inspiration. Love. Emotion. Life. This is a step in a totally different direction from where we thought it would be going. But we think it’s a step in the right direction. A new layer in the Onion…. That’s what this is all about right?
